We use only gourmet, natural ingredients—the best we can find. This means, no hydrogenated oils, vegetable shortening, chemicals or corn syrup….only real butter, sugar and high-quality chocolates, like Valrhona. Wanna take it a step further? You can even order an all-organic cupcake.

bittycakes was started in 2004 by Raleigh-native and life-long baker, Kim Hammer. bittycakes was born from her desire for fresh, seasonal baked goods, without a bunch of phony ingredients and icky chemicals. Kim has always been committed to supporting as many local growers and producers as possible. In fact, most ingredients come from within a 50-mile radius of Kim's kitchen. This includes milk, cream, eggs and nearly every produce used (berries, sweet potatoes, herbs, etc.). And because nobody wants chemicals in their cupcakes (or pie!)—all berries and most other produce is completely pesticide-free or certified organic.

In addition, every order comes with a complete ingredient list, so when a guest asks, "Do these cupcakes have peanuts, wheat, cinnamon, whatever….?" You'll know the answer.
